ABOUT JOHN

Whether as writer, producer, director or editor John's film-making is typified by a love of visual & audio spectacle, a keen social conscience and a painstaking attention to detail across all disciplines.

This same love of detail is the hallmark of his art, and his intricately detailed cutaway artwork is commissioned by major Haollywood film studios for internationally published official franchise lore publications on Star Wars, Alien, Halo and many more.

A passion for collaboration and helping others has been a mainstay throughout John's life.  John spent 30 years as a volunteer with children’s charity The Newman Holiday Trust looking after children with additional needs. He was also a core campaigner with SOAR - an environmental campaign group who successfully protected the Thames Path from major development and is proud to now work with UK environmental initiative Natural Neighbours.

John was co-founder and songwriter with UK band Last Picture Show and he continues to write, record and play guitar very noisily - much to the frustration of his wife and two teenage sons.

He lives in Reading, UK.
