A lifelong fan of science-fiction cinema, John has over twenty years experience producing high-detailed cutaway art for publications licensed by major film studio properties. Working with publishers such as Dorling Kindersley, Insight Editions and Free League, John has created artwork in collaboration with Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox, Pixar, Universal, 343 Industries, the BBC and Games Workshop. Each artwork is as screen-accurate as the reference allows, working not just from film-stills but from production blueprints, on-set photography and archive imagery of the original miniatures.
