ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE

Following his involvement with the Star Wars licensing team, John continued his work with Dorling Kindersley by contributing illustrations to their Eyewitness Travel Guide series. All of these artworks are aerial views of famous world heritage sites and were produced from an exhaustive study of available reference photos. His first pieces were commissioned for a book celebrating 100 must-see worldwide locations, including the Imam Mosque in Iran and Angkor Wat in Cambodia. He went on to produce an extensive selection of views for DK’s Eyewitness Guide to China which includes Tian'anmen Square and the Three Gorges Dam.

John has also worked with archaelogical conservation schemes producing visuals to show the preservation work carried out to sites of historical value.
